You don't Need Expensive Toys, Try this with your Kids

Image
Prerna is playing with clay pot pieces I like this picture very much. It was taken by me in the morning just after my daughter woke up and we went to the roof for playing with these broken pieces of clay pot. We used to crush them and make a powder to mix with water and called it "Dawai, Dai, A Medicine". Yes it sounds funny. I like to play this game with daughter as it involves sand, dirt etc. It's kind of good for kids and their immunity. Heard somewhere that kids should play with sand to a good growth. In her school there is also a artificial sand pot for kids to play with. I found it also good for connecting with her. Prerna crush them with a stone or rub it on the roof. After that we mix water and let it settle or dry into the sunlight. I found it also creative for such nursery kids that helps in being creative or curious. Prerna grinding clay pot pieces A small thought What I like about this game is that there is no expensive toy involved or following any instructio...

Herd of Animals on the Road, A Real Traffic Problem in India can Solve by This

Image
A flock of Sheep You see the herd of sheep walking on road, this is the main way to my home in my village. A hundred of sheep came in front of me and blocked the whole road. Vehicles from both side were unable to move. I waited her for approx 10 minutes, then I could move from here. I'm posting this for pointing out one thing that why the roads and streets in India allow moving such flock of animals like sheep, goat, cow etc freely. It blocks the whole transport system and having chances of  major accidents. Sometime, when it's cows, they can hit a car, bike or the rider, and can cause serious injury. Then who will be the responsible for that. However this is not a big road, this is small road inside my village. But my concern is for all roads whether it's a small or big. I'm talking about the safety of people and animals both. So whats's the solution here, that the traffic can easily move. This is what can be done The government can't make separate road for the...

Bought Flag Accessories from a Roadside Stall and Learned Something

Image
A woman standing near a flag shop You see this stall where a woman and her kids are selling Indian flags and accessories for the kids. These accessories are supposed to wear on Independence day or before the day. I'm posting this after the independence day, but I stopped at this shop on 12th aug 2026. This flag shop carried on a bike attached to a mini lorry with a woman, her kids and her husband. I found it pity that how a little family riding on a mini cart attached to a bike selling these flag accessories. I stopped there and this woman treated me well with a professional tone. Like she was asking "sir aapko chahiye". First I bought a tricolor scarf for my daughter, then few small accessories like hair band, wrist flag, a tricolor tag, tassel hair ties etc. Prerna on Tricolor day 14th Aug 2026 And all these accessories suited well on my daughter. I was happy that I purchased few great things to make my daughter's first tricolor day celebration memorable.  All these...

A White Pigeon visits our Home Daily, does it bring Good Luck?

Image
A white pigeon sits on a curtain in our house These pigeons are basically living in my house. They are sitting on the curtains under the lobby just outside my room. There is a washroom along side these curtains in front of the door of my bedroom. There is only my bedroom and a washroom alongside on the roof at my home. Checkout this white pigeon who regularly visits and sits outside our bedroom. This white pigeon is more quieter and calm then blue ones. I never saw white pigeon before at anyone's house. It makes me wonder what thist means, is it a sign of good luck coming to my life? A Pigeon sits outsides the bathroom on curtain These pigeons go inside the bathroom and make nest by bringing dry grass, twigs and straw daily. My wife just wasting their hard work by withdrawing those. And I told her many time that let them make home and get a shelter provided by us. But she refused to have them a shelter inside our house as she believes pigeons shouldn't come in houses and making...

Kanwar Yatra Music: Are We Promoting Devotion or Aggression?

Image
This is a Dak Kawad vehicle image was taken by me and I'd like to discuss something about these. I noticed the same music they keep playing day and night. And these songs are not devotional, soft and spiritual. Yes, Lord Shiva got mentioned in those songs, but not to spread good things like devotions, spiritual vibes, peace, faith and positivism. But the kanwar season brings its own soundtrack—loud, aggressive, and full of desi chhapri style like, "Bhole the Haryana ke", "System padte chale", "Damru Ala" and many more. Kawad Shivir Playing Noisy Music  Pad Yatra Kawad Playing the same noisy music I noticed almost every Kawd shivir or vehicle was set up with DJ playing the same noisy, chhapri music which can't sound spiritual or spread a peaceful positive vibes. My point is this, should we really appreciate such songs which spreads use of drinking Bhang or alcohal, smoking weeds and many other drugs or addictive substance in the name of Shiv Bhakti ...

When Lord Shiva becomes a Character for Entertainment

Image
You see these guys who are dressed like Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. And it seems like they are entertaining each other by some jokes or any amusement. This picture was taken by me when there was a convoy with DJ and these shiv bhakts came to our street in our village last night. At First, a DJ came and then a tractor loaded with these shiv bhakts with few more persons who were wrapped with ashes and little human skulls. Once the DJ stopped in front of our gate, someone brought a cold-drink dew for these shiv bhakts which were riding in the tractor behind the DJ. You see now Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are enjoying mountain dew. After this refreshment, they cam down and start dancing in front of DJ. Many people cam outside thier houses and enjoying the show like how Bhagwan Shiv were dancing with devi parvati. I was wondering what is wrong with the people now-days. They made bhagwan shiv and parvati an entertainment. Was that necessary to carried out such rally where we need to i...
