Red Teaming is a methodology of cybersecurity that assumes that an organization is under attack and seeks to find vulnerable points. In this approach, the red team is always able to discover flaws that may not be identified by even the most effective security audit. Unlike vulnerability scans which are used after a breach has occurred to contain it, this method helps organizations to prepare their defences better hence improving on their security stance.
